I consider myself to be a pretty devoted and loving fan of the French band, Phoenix, so I was a little skeptical when I saw that Tokyo Police Club was going to give a shot at covering one of my favorite Phoenix songs, "Long Distance Call" from It's Never Been Like That. This should have actually been posted a few hours ago since it was the song for Tuesday from the 10 Days ... project. Tokyo Police Club take on a fitting cover with "Long Distance Call", originally sung by Phoenix on their 2006 album It's Never Been Like That . I'm digging this one best of the covers so far.
