British folk runs headlong into retro psychedelic fuzz on Dream Life , the eclectic and eargrabbing debut album from Mary Epworth . It's a little bit curious to me that the "official" video for Chris Cornell's "Long Gone" released last week was not for the shitty overproduced album version of the track, but instead the Howard Benson remix, aka the "Rock Remix," complete with real guitars and more importantly real rocking drums. While the track still isn't quite up to the quality of Cornell's previous solo albums, it is miles closer. Could this be Cornell's first admission that Scream was a mistake?
