Concerning his beats, french beatmaker Charles Boyd is really faithfull to his alias Lord Boyd . Of all his tunes so far it's "Versailles Beat" which impresses me the most. Over the comfortable beat it always sounds like a fanfare of trumpets in front of the Palace of Versailles is about to be played. Lord Boyd is one of the most original artists I've heard this fall. This Parisian beatmaker's rhythms are on point, with complex synths and melodies that really accentuate his samples. Space Jordan '96 is one of the hottest jams I've heard all year. Just about everything on his soundcloud should be in your collection.
