Los Campesinos!, the seven-piece band conceived at Cardiff University in 2006 is now a well known name in twee indie pop. The Welshmen list fellow UK'ers The Beautiful South as a heavy influence, so it's no surprise to see them pay tribute to them with a cover of their 1989 debut single "I Love You (But You're Boring)." At that very core of Los Campesinos! lie their lyrics of sardonic wit, lines of post-teenage angst, longing and occasional tongue-in-cheek melancholia. So it's a strange thought the band covering another, singer Gareth reciting someone else's lines.
