Lost in the Trees is a folk orchestra from Chapel Hill NC, led by composer/songwriter Ari Picker. This 13 member outfit obviously incorporates a vast array of instruments into their music, so you might just hear sounds from the viola, cello, tuba, french horn, euphonium, trombone, trumpet, accordion, singing saw, mandolin…oh, and the glockenspiel. Quindi, come accennato, il passaggio alla ragione sociale Vessels, con quattro protagonisti ed un'impostazione dove la contaminazione sa rendersi incontaminata. C'è tanto nella band di Leeds: la malinconia a stretto confine con ipotesi narcolettiche, amanti tanto delle macchine (in bassa fedeltà) quanto della strumentazione classica, il culto della reiterazione, la frenesia che sa rendersi emozionale e violenta. Well, we're here. Much of the CoS team has reconvened in Chicago, and it's cold! Damn cold! We're talking in the negatives here, and no, it's not pleasant. The Christmas lights are all gone, the snow has an asphalt look to it, and the only thing resembling holiday cheer is the seclusive yet elated office worker who's finally seeing the outside world at 5:45 in the evening.
