Lower Heaven come from California, and take their name from an Echo & the Bunnymen song. Their reverb-laden psychedelic rock fits right in with their fellow contemporaries such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Angels, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Psych specialists Lower Heaven recently had an interesting interview with LA Record where they talk about Shitgaze, Austin Psych Fest, selling out, among other things. They also posted up a new song that would make Anton Newcombe blush. The track isnt slated for any record as of yet, but the band mentions they will be in the studio at the beginning of next year.
