Its fair to say that Holkham Drones by Luke Abbott has been one of the stand out albums in the last 2 years. Sublime production matched with beautifully constructed tunes have made it a Labs favourite. Well he is back with a new EP on Notown in the next few days. We have the title track for you to check out and we are all keeping pur fingers crossed that another album isn't too far away.

Gold Panda describes the 73 he's created for "Mountain" and "Financial District" as a "short story," hinting at something in the future that could twist his sound in a completely new direction. It's great to hear him return to the tempos that grabbed our attention in the first place, and you should purchase the vinyl via NOTOWN today.

Electronic music producer Luke Abbott-creator of one of my favorite 2010 albums, Holkham Drones -has a new track out titled "Modern Driveway." The track's hypnotic repetition executed by subtle beats and analog synths is to be expected, but the chord progression on this track feels pretty uplifting to me, which isn't an emotion I came away from his last album with. The final single to be taken from Luke Abbott 's debut album Holkham Drones , 'Brazil', got a video release this week (watch below) - which is great, but not enough. We need more Abbott. This is where Gold Panda steps in, as he's gone and remixed the track. Lovely as always Mr Panda.
