Day one of the third annual Hangout Fest went off without much of a hitch, even if it did feel hotter than low 80s. With the sun high in the sky and blazing, thousands of people funneled themselves into the festival's secondary stage area to witness Brittany Howard and her Alabama Shakes prove that the hype was warranted. There was also very little chit-chat, lots of guitar work, and an ever-changing backdrop provided by four windows... The band played some great ones like Poison Cup, Rollercoaster, To Go Home and Never Had Nobody Like You. Also included was one of his guitar solo songs, which is always nice to watch. [...]

He was there to support his recently released solo album A Wasteland Companion and performed the track " Primitive Girl". There's not many things that can link Frank Ocean to M Ward , but don't wrack your brains for some far-fetched seventh degree of separation because both have just been announced for Bestival . The Odd Future member and the Oberst/Deschanel collaborator will join the like of The XX, Sigur Ròs and even Stevie Wonder at the fest. Bestival will take place at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight between the 6-9th September.

In the lead up to the announcement of Bestival 's Friday headliner, festival organiser Rob ba Bank has announced that Frank Ocean and M. Ward will be heading to Robin Hill Country Park, Isle Of Wight this September (6th - 9th September). Not only that, but he's confirmed that Azealia Banks will be playing the festival, despite having cancelled most of her scheduled festival dates.
