They call it many things. Fidgethouse and stuff like that. Whatever, who cares. All I know it that it sounds fucking awesome and all those dudes who are part of Machines Don't Care have been ruling my iPod for about a year (I gotta ask though, were Switch and Diplo too busy working together to get in on that MDC album? Because then it really would have been like Superfriends). Trevor Loveys (of Speakerjunk and MDC fame) has done a wicked wicked remix for you folks for a band [...]

pic: machines dont care how do you solve a problem like having too much to post? not so much as a graham norton and andrew lloyd webber sandwich but rather the simple option of an eenie meenie minee mo. this time fidget super group machines don't care came out on top; which is fitting as they are all top chaps who work their little cotton socks off. when the news first sprung out at the start of the year i was more than just excited, i was scared! scared that its monster [...]

What surely can be called the ultimate fidget/bassline group, Machines...

As you might have noticed I always make an effort to find the right picture for my weekly post. For my take on Machines Don't Care I found some great machines not caring at all. Above is a pic I think fits the best to the track I re-edited. Just cross the "On A" out. Then you're left with "Roll Man". And that's the thing to do after using the machine. The other machines I discovered are as essential as for your future life, so I decided to introduce you [...]

Over the last six months, I've posted predominantly indie-electro, distorted bangers, gnarled electro-tech and fidgety tunes with wonky basslines. I've displayed a beset fixation on the likes of the Black Ghosts, Fake Blood, Switch, LA Riots, Justice and Does It Offend You, Yeah?. I like vocal based remixes, distorted bangers and gnarly basslines - and I hear you say it's all getting a little samey? Call me old-fashioned, narrow-minded, stuck in a rut, monotonous or unadventurous - though I'd prefer you to call me Pelski - but I generally stick to a certain vein of dance music. [...]

More love to the Machines Don't Care Project. Both EP's (Service Pack 1 & 2) are out in the wild and should not be slept on! The project headed by Hervé and Sinden , is rumored to include Dubstep wonder kid Skream and Radio One personality Kissy Sell Out among the massive collective already made up of Fake Blood , Drop The Lime , Trevor Loveys , Detboi , Toddla T and Affie Usuf in future releases. [...]

I'm a little behind with my blogging, but here is a crazy collaboration that I just found out about, Machines Don't Care. It is a project centered around Herve and Sinden along with djs/producers Drop The Lime, Fake Blood, Detboi, Trevor Loveys, Toddla T, Affie Yusuf and Fake Blood. It should be an interesting mix of talents. Machines Don't Care - On a Roll Man (Herve, Trevor Loveys and Affie Yusef) Check out this 12 minute mini mix of their album set to be [...]

Many dance music snobs are denouncing the indie-rock and dance music crossover. I'm not talking about New Rave, but merely the more rocky and sometimes vocal-based side of electro that's been arising for a year or two (pioneered by the likes of Kitsune, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, Ed Banger, The Black Ghosts, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and many many more). Those condemning this fusion of dance and rock are massively narrow-minded, and missing the point. Dance music was founded on innovation and experimentation and accounts for why the genre continually evolves and maintains a certain freshness. There's always those uber-conservative stiffs [...]
