The critically acclaimed Jet Project (from Booka Shade's Get Physical ) brings the sub-aquatic sounds of dubbed up tech-house, whilst Fabric resident Mackaveli will be turning us over with his usual mix of twisted 2-step and sharp techno [...]

Not only can he do that but he can also host a killer night in one of [...]

Второй вечеринка Дункана, знаменитого блоггера с You Can Call Me Pelski и просто моего хорошего друга, выглядит не менее привлекательней дебюта. На этот раз лайн-ап сдвинулся от юк фанки в сторону дип трайбл хауса и энергичного 2степа, что позволило ему, лайнапу, выглядеть вот так: Jet Project (Get Physical / Get Digital / Beef Records) Mackaveli (Fabric) Solid Gold & Park Ranger (Trouble Vision) Charles Darkly (Pelski Blog) Судя по лейблам, можна сразу определить величину приглашенных. Кому мало - [...]
As part of the Mixcloud Curators series, Fabric DJ Mackaveli has compiled a formidable hour long chronicle comprising tunes from the likes of Wookie, Dop, The Knife and more. At times relaxed, at others funkier than your Grandma in an MC hammer video, this has a little bit for everyone. The Mosca remix of Tempa T's 'Next Hype' is particularly mad and I've also been enjoying Mount Kimbie's take on Foals' 'Spanish Sahara'. Listen below, the tracklist is snugly located inside the little widget.
Our man, Mackaveli drops his 20 min promo mix for Sinden's show on Kiss 100. Nice work! Mackaveli 20 minute Mix for Sinden's show on Kiss 100 (Sendspace) Tracklist: 1. DJ Luck & MC... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
He is constantly appearing on the bills with London's rising future music stars, and holds residencies at some of the hottest spots in town, including Fabric and Plan B's 'Hyp! Hyp! Hyp!' . Watch him spin an eclectic mix of garage, techno and funky with a load of heyday 2-step 12"s you wished you had, he always manages to bridge the gaps effectively. I caught up with Mackaveli to talk about sonic influences and things to come... Has growing up in London caused your music taste to span a wide spectrum of club [...]

Summer seems like a long faded memory now that the dark, rainy days of November dominate the UK. It's a bit shit. It's times like this that I reach for all the summer tunes and mixes, staying indoors with cups of tea and plans for next year's getaways. Here's a two-step/garage mix from Fabric homeboy Mackaveli (James Mack) which I meant to post up ages ago. Better late than never still holds true in this case. Check out his myspace page for his Fabriclive promo mix and Curb Crawlers mix, [...]

[Artwork courtesy of Dood ] BOOM, its been a while, too long, some may say, but we are back again. After some troubling email issues, we finally reconnected, and were promtly flooded with over 400 emails with tracks, mixes, promo and all sorts...hopefully some will follow in the next few days. Anyway, to kick of the festive season we have a smashing little 2 Step from our man in the big smoke (London, UK); MACKAVELI. Seemlessly blending some classic vocals and exceedingly sharp beats, Mackaveli has served up an absolute ace with this mixtape. [...]
Aside from probably having sorted out each one of you with some of the finest music, without you even knowing it, Mackaveli ( myspace ) is a quality selector. Every one of his mixtapes is fire, so I'm proud to present his latest. Londoners be sure to go catch him play at The Den (formerly The End) October 14. And watch out for more ScenexScience mixtapes coming soon! Mackaveli - Mixtape For ScenexScience ( MediaFire ) * tracklisting * Cassius [...]
Tupac has not arisen from the dead..... Mackaveli, a good friend of mine is making a name for himself in the dubstep scene, and I don't mean the mindless 'woggga woggga wogga wonk wonk wonk' kind. A new breed of intelligently produced dubstep is making me fall in love with a sound I have always deplored. I suppose its always been around, Burial championing the stripped back intriguing sounding

Ben UFO's recent fabric promo mix took me by suprise. Introduced to it by our friends over at Curb Crawlers i took their word for when they said it was "without a doubt one of the most incredible things I've heard in recent time" I found myself of similar opinion and was hyped to see good friend of our Joy Orbison getting props on the last track of the sequence.Check out his label too Hessle
