When I first heard the short YouTube preview to his 'Finale,' I sure as hell couldn't wait for the "final" version. This may not be it quite yet, but it's sure as shit almost there. 'Finale' isn't quite as ground breaking as the preview hinted, but it's still a top marked track on the EDM scene. Boy wonder Madeon is back with a video preview for his new upcoming single 'Finale,' featuring vocals from Nicholas Petricca, of indie band Walk the Moon. Seems nothing the teenager can do is wrong. Ever since his live US debut last October at Webster Hall, Madeon has been only going up, from stellar performances at Coachella and Ultra to perfectly timed productions. We are looking forward to the release of 'Finale,' to put it mildly.
Madeon, who has become perhaps the most exciting young talents in the EDM world , has been on a real hot streak lately. His remix of Martin Solveig's "The Night Out" was a runaway success and he has been killing it at festivals this summer. Most DJ / producers are better at one skill or the other, but that can't really be said for 17 year-old French prodigy. He possesses the technical skills of someone who has been in the business for a decade and he can seemingly navigate any genre out there. Madeon's signature nu-disco style is always present but he can flawlessly transition into dubstep, house, or electro at any moment.
