For this website's 100th post and six month's anniversary, I chose to write about Teresa Salgueiro. She's a favorite of mine and this blog is filled with references Madredeus' work from various albums. Not only was Madredeus the best and most successful Portuguese act in history, but they are also a source of inspiration for this site. But Teresa Salgueiro, who changed the spelling of her artistic name to Tereza, left the band some years ago to pursue a solo career. But i really do believe that Haja o que Houver is the most beautiful love song written in Portuguese (or any language), and that Teresa Salgueiro's voice is at its best here.
