Magenta Skycodelta ilmestyy pitkästä aikaa uutta materiaalia 24. syyskuuta, jolloin Solina Records julkaisee We're Going To Climb/Escaping Outdoors -singlen sekä 7-tuumaisena vinyylinä että digijulkaisuna. Singleä painetaan ainoastaan 500 kappaletta, joissa jokaisessa on käsin tehdyt yksilölliset kannet. Uuden kokopitkän pitäisi olla valmiina ensi vuoden alkupuolella.

Magenta Skycode on tuore kotimainen yhtye, joka julkaisi maaliskuussa laajalti huomiota ja kiitosta keränneen debyyttialbuminsa IIIII . Levyn myötä yhtye on myös aloittanut keikkailun: keskiviikon Tavastian esitys oli järjestyksessään kahdeksas. Keikka alkoi tyylikkäällä ja maalailevalla levyn aloitusbiisillä Hands Burn . One band that doesn't get the hype it deserves is Magenta Skycode. Hailing from Turku, Finland they have a blend of many different elements. I could describe them as The Cure meets Joy Division meets The Arcade Fire. An odd mix, I know, but thats what we like here at The Music Lion. I've got 2 songs off of their debut album IIIII.
