![[Mixtape] Major Lazer – Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 4](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4876056_lg.jpg)
The Diplo & Switch collective returns with the fourth installation in their remix series. As usual they provide the full spectrum of today's bass music while making sure not to neglect their island inspired roots. Personally I'm partial to the "Get Free" remix feat. Chronixx but the Snoop Lion feat. Drake joint is no slouch either. Stream and download the project for free below.

Five days ago, M.I.A. released Switch’s remix (feat. Missy Elliot and Rye Rye) of her smash hit ‘Bad Girls’ on Soundcloud, and it already has over 71,000 plays (even if about 20 of them are mine). I am not surprised about the popularity of this song; it is amazingly catchy and has the kind of beat that can only be played correctly when blasting out of a car with good hydraulics and a supped up paint job. This remix is expertly crafted in the capable hands of the [...]

Well here it is folks! Holy Ship 2013 boasts an amazing lineup so far such as Justice, Knife Party, Major Lazer, Diplo, Skream & Benga, Busy P, and more.
Ever wondered what would happen if a bass heavy mogul hailing from the Trouble and Bass crew in NY spent an hour playing a mash up of rockabilly, swing, soul and eventually delivering the killing blow via bass thomping electro at Notting Hill Carnival!!. Well........ have we got a treat for you!! Check the link.... http://redbullmusicacademyradi o.com/shows/3156/ If you are as big of a fan of Drop The Lime as we are and enjoyed this set enough to both twist and stomp, why not have a look at what influenced the Lime [...]

Yesterday's Pitchfork Music Festival provided a great opportunity to see a bunch of bands that had eluded me. In total, I saw eleven bands during the course of one day, including eight of those for the first time. I wasn't going to miss a chance to check out Best Coast , whose album, Crazy For You , arrives next week behind a wave of great press. Her song " Boyfriend " would be permanently in my head for the remainder of the day. Up next my [...]
Sound Of Siren (Ft. M.I.A.) Major Lazer is a production duo that although I have posted several times I still feel as if I have slept on them. All of their music sounds great for the club and is one of the few albums with that overall feel that I liked in the past couple years. [...]
Time to give you all something from the vault (and by vault I mean it is two weeks old) and it is club track from Major Lazer. There have been several tracks from Major Lazer's album Guns Don't Kill People...Lazers Do that I have listened to and liked and thought I should bring this back [...]

This is the last post I'll be doing now for a couple of weeks while I get my final MSc project handed in. I've been really busy as of late so I've accrued quite the collection of decent tunes. So without further ado... A mate sent me the link to this song last week. REALLY great remix. Blitz!Blitz!Blitz!Blitz!Blitz! Blitz!Blitz!Blitz! [...]

Diplo and Switch (Major Laser) worked hard and it shows Major Laser: Keep It Goin Louder (Feat. Nina Sky) (Diplo Remix) -Zshare- Joignez DidiZeKid
You should know Diplo's drill by now. Wesley Pentz has been at the forefront of global dance culture for about five years, knocking out thriller DJ sets and a consistent array of jump-up remixes and production. With the Major Lazer project, he teams up with UK producer Switch to shine a light on Jamaican dancehall's current talent. Forget the concept of Major Lazer as a Jamaican renegade soldier with lazers as prosthetic limbs who lost his arm in the secret Zombie War of 1984 (though the idea does inspire the brilliant artwork), the combo of Diplo [...]
