Ahead of their massive show in Manchester with The Bouncing Souls, I sat down with Cheap Girls to discuss life, their forthcoming fourth record, working with Laura Jane Grace and...kites? The band played a packed out show at Manchester's NQ Live that, along with The Souls, also included the likes of Make Do And Mend, Daylight, Luther and Chain Of Flowers. Make Do And Mend have announced they will be heading into the studio a month from today to start recording their new album with producer Matt Bales in Seattle.

Rise Records continues its diverse signing spree over the past year which includes acts like Hot Water Music , the Early November , Daytrader and Cheap Girls . According to this entry , Make Do and Mend have joined the label and will begin recording their followup to End Measured Mile on February 20th, 2012. Connecticut group Make Do and Mend are streaming their just-released acoustic EP, Part And Parcel in its entirety.
