Their music is definitely pop, but with a frantic, garage energy to it that makes it quite unique. No question, Make Out is the best thing that could have come out of the dissolution of Junior Senior. After that much-admired unit went the way of the dodo, Jesper Mortensen left London for a brief reprieve in his native Denmark before hopping to NYC in search of his next pop challenge. Fate would have it that one of the first souls he encountered in his new hometown was Leah Hennessey, aka the step-daughter of The New York Dolls' David Johansen.
