A couple of weeks ago, the forward-thinking Jason from The Pop Cop emailed IGIF and about fifteen other blogs around the world seeking their participation in what he called a way to "introduce your favourite music to a worldwide audience [that] would show the strength of the music blogging community in a way that has never been done before." In 1990, someone in the village of Luxey (with 650 inhabitants) had the f***ing genius idea of hosting a music festival within the very walls of the village. According to last.fm , Maps has recently beaten out The Roots to become my number two favorite band. Well, it's not a band per se; it's the Englishman pictured above: James Chapman.
