It's a weird time to be hanging around the music scene on the East Coast. Over the years great bands have come and gone, but not since the whole "new Seattle" days has so much quality music been made here. I come from a scene where "slap bass" and "drop D" were very much accepctable terms, so this all still kind of freaks me out. Lately, I have been listening to two bands from PEI a lot.
