Her experimental sound sculptures, which pass through dance floors like ear-catching apparitions, have been hosted by Contexterrior, Non Standard Records and Perlon. Born in Poland, she spent her formative teenage years growing up in America and now, like so many other dance music producers, lives in Berlin. However since then there has been a distinct lack of electronic music made by female artists posted on this blog. It certainly hasn’t been a conscious decision on my part. One reason that could be argued, is that there just aren’t that many female producers involved in the electronic/techno scene. Er zijn nou eenmaal niet zo heel veel vrouwen die minimal en techno een warm hart toe dragen en al snel ontdekte ik dat Margaret al heel lang een warm techohart heeft en ook al jaren een graag geziene dj is in grote steden, in grote clubs naast grote namen.
