Marina & The Diamonds dropped her new (Diplo and Dr Luxe produced) single 'Primadonna' on us today. This will be the first official single off her upcoming album Electra Heart .

On April 16th Marina & The Diamonds will release the official first single, "Primadonna", to precede their sophomore LP titled Electra Heart which set for release April 30th 2012. Until then the band has released two teaser tracks to keep the hype up. The latest release, a catchy track called "Homewrecker", shines like The Diamonds themselves with its brand of catchy and danceable music. Marina & The Diamonds revealed the artwork and track list for her new album Electra Heart on Twitter today. The MARINA & THE DIAMONDS couldn't afford to pay her hair-stylist so the team walked out before they could finish off her do. The she-popper was worried the photographer would also catch wind of the no budget, due to poor debut album sales, so she hurried along and took a few jpegs with her half-styled weave. The art director knew in advance he/she wouldn't get paid so they didn't bother working the project, at all. End result is that horrendous picture above which will serve as the MARINA 's artwork for her album number two, ELECTRA [...]

There's been a few changes in the Marina & The Diamonds' camp in the year or so since she wrapped up the campaign for debut The Family Jewels . With a new look and a move to a more pop and dance sound, the singer is set to release new record Electra Heart through 679/Atlantic on Friday 27th April. Marina you MINX you. You homewrecking minx. I realize I say this a lot, but I feel like this girl is literally hovering on the cusp of making it huge in the States.
