Almost six years to the day, Milwaukee's emo pop pioneers The Promise Ring played a one-off reunion show at the Flower 15 Festival at Chicago's The Metro. Now, 10 years since the their initial disbandment, the band has announced a return to the venue as part of a two date (upgrade!) "test" jaunt in February 2012, reports The A.V. Club . After a four-year musical hiatus, Maritime released its latest full-length, Human Hearts , via Dangerbird Records earlier this year. Human Hearts is a feel-good anthem of indie rock and right at home on Dangerbird, whose other artists include other big names such as Silversun Pickups and Minus The Bear.
