So I can't figure out if I like this guy or what. Each song that Mason Proper does sounds pretty different to me than the last track I just heard. It's had to get a sense of what they're about. You guys tell me-drop a comment or something. They're touring with some good bands-in particular, the always amazing Birdmonster, so I've listened to these tracks more than a few times, but I just can't get a strong feel for them. Great news today concerning indie rock band Mason Proper. The Michigan boys released their debut album, "There Is A Moth In Your Chest" last year on their own indie label called Mang Chung Records and began to tour. The fruits of the tour were great, and included a Lounge Act performance on WOXY , some great live sets, and caught the ear of Dovecote Records at a NYC gig.
