Haven't given Mates of State much time as of late and it appears I missed some good stuff as a result. Â This track opens up their last studio album released in 2011. Mates of State are heading back out on the road in December for a short tour. The venues are a little smaller than usual for the band, and it appears these will all be duo shows (when I read this, I was surprised to hear that Mates of State had expanded beyond duo-status; the last time I recall seeing them live, they played as a duo). In early December they'll play a string of east coast dates that will be featuring them as the duo lineup - just Jason and Kori , the organ, drums, their voices and their original gear.
