Black Butter Records has announced the start of what they're calling "Black Butter Spread Love Series" (pun intended) in which they will give away a medley of releases from the label free of charge. Well this was a surprise, Hot 97’s Funk-master Flex comes through once again with another world premiere excursive. This time he unleashed “Theraflu” by Kanye West & DJ Khaled , that may be the first single off the highly-anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, coming soon. James et Andy de Matta ne s'arrêtent donc jamais, quelques sorties non mentionnée sur le blog pour cause d'actu sur-dimensionnée mais celle ci mérite vraiment d'être souligné puisqu'ils nous offrent quelques chose de vraiment différents du dubstep indus lourd et massif auquel ils nous ont habitué. On commence par un Ovni pour l'univers de Matta avec Apart qui se la joue future garage en gardant évidemment quelques sonorités typiques du duo, Infatuation quand à lui un morceau profond et lent qui lui confère une ambiance de catacombe. Peut-être que son nom ne vous dit rien du tout, ou au contraire peut-être que vous suivez ce bonhomme depuis un moment et êtes fans. En tout cas je me souviens encore comment Matta étaient en adoration devant lui quand ils nous parlaient des producteurs en qui ils croyaient, ils parlent d'ailleurs de lui dans l' interview sur BF2D . Il y a déjà un peu moins d'un moiscnous avons fait venir les Matta à Lyon pour leur première date française. On s'est retrouvé avec deux anglais vraiment agréable, causant et sans la moindre prétentions, il allait donc de soit pour l'équipe de réaliser une interview du duo. L'intreview s'est faite par mail juste après la date parce que nous n'avons pas réussi à trouver le temps nécessaire pendant le show. Vous trouverez dans la suite du billet ce que l'on peut apprendre sur Matta et leur renomée qui ne cesse d'augmenter.
