Shamefully, I have to confess I'm something of a latecomer to the music of DJ Koze . In fact, it was actually Matthew Dear 's name that brought me to this track, an unusually upbeat collaboration taken from DJ Koze's upcoming 'Amygdala' album. Featuring a surprising Latin influence, DJ Koze and Matthew Dear's 'My Plans' takes the current trend for clipped, pitched up vocals and layers them over a whimsical, upbeat shuffle. Brazos has announced they will release their second full-length, Saltwater , May 28, 2013 on Dead Oceans. Saltwater will be the band's first release for the label.
