Song of the Day: Megapuss - Surfing Megapuss - Surfing Another look at one of this year most exciting collaborations and this one sees Devendra Banhart taking a backseat, his vocals waiting to take the latter half of this wonderfully slumbering song somewhere else entirely. It also goes to show that Megapuss will not simply be a half-serious, 'kooky-for-the-sake-of-it' side-project. Devendra Banhart Working On New Album Devendra Banhart has been keeping himself busy lately writing and recording a full-length album with his side project band, Megapuss . The album reportedly titled ' Surfin ', has been described as having a 'crunk, jazz, pop' sound. Banhart's side project band also features Priestbird drummer Greg Rogove .
