Photo by Alexander Richter "When you ballin', you ain't gotta pay for shit, that's Church. Steeple." Treated Tuesday marches on. Today's drop takes its name from a Hip Hop icon, and features a strong lineup, including the founders of Treated Crew, Hollywood Holt, Mic Terror, and Million $ Mano. We also receive contributions from Gzus Piece (who shines on the chorus), and ShowYouSuck. The production is provided by Mike Jaxx, who is raw as well. Listen to the new record below. You can also download a CDQ version of last week's #TreatedTuesday record, "Formal [...]

Photo by Alexander Richter "Give some pussy to Thelonious, this kid is brilliant." It took 12 #TreatedTuesdays, but we finally get the "Formal Introduction" on Chicago's Treated Crew. The new record features Mic Terror, Nick Junior, Million $ Mano, Gzus Piece and Caleb James, who come through with a smooth and explanatory posse cut on one the Chi's most formidable crews. I thoroughly enjoy the record, especially the way Mic Terror cleverly weaves through the names of various Treated Crew members. Stream the track below and you can also download the CDQ version of [...]

This week I attended a couple studio sessions and grabbed some photos. On Tuesday I was at SoundScape Studio, where a strong collective of artists worked on a new material. Chance The Rapper recorded an acoustic version of "Hey Ma", and started on a new record with BrandUn DeShay. While DeShay also put a banger together with Thelonious Martin. Later in the afternoon, ShowYouSuck and Auggie The 9th paid a visit to Thelonious to work on a new record as well. Yesterday I swung by Million $ Mano's spot where he was hosting a session with Mic Terror, [...]

In classic form, the 2nd Tuesday of the month brings us "Killa" from Treated Crew, with today's lineup featuring Gzus Piece, Mano, Mic Terror and Lee Majorz. Dubbed the audio film, I wonder what Mano and Co. have in-store for the visuals. Hit the jump for the stream and hope as much as I do we learn more about a project in the near future.

#TreatedTuesday continues with yet another gem "The Gospel", Featuring the usual suspects Mano, Holt and Mic Terror as well as Sulaiman, Gzus Piece and the formally introduced Scott Holt. The Crew really hasn't missed a step but that's expected. Mano taps a Daft Punk sample here and the result is quite appropriate. Hit the jump for "The Gospel" "Who Is Scott Holt?"

"Welcome to the treated life, I'm everything you'd ever want to be in life." It's Treated Tuesday and without disappointment, Million $ Mano hits us with another new joint cooked up in his kitchen featuring a lineup of Chicago's finest. This week we get "#1 Crew", some Chicago soul mixed with a little West Coast flavor, both production wise and in the delivery from emcees Sulaiman, Mano, Jon James, Mic Terror and Chuck Inglish. Listen below.

Million $ Mano hit our inbox with this week's Treated Tuesday record, this time showcasing an all-star cast of Mic Terror, Hollywood Holt, and GLC, who introduce the world to some classic Chicago slang in "Whaddown". Listen below.

Something new from Naledge and Tony Baines' upcoming EP Night At The Elysian . The Mic Terrorist contributes a verse and Anton Genius croons the hook. The party is private, but the download is open to the public. There's no list. 05 Private Party (ft. Mic Terror & Anton Genius) Naledge x Tony Baines f/ Mic Terror & Anton Genius - Private Party

It's #TreatedTuesdays on you motherfuckers, and here we have the latest drop from the Treated Crew. "N-Words and B-Words" features Lee Majorz, Naledge, and Mic Terror. It's produced by Million $ Mano and is pretty dope. Naledge takes the gloves off and sounds pretty fierce, while Mic Terror name drops Akon before speaking his mind on Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. I've liked all the Treated Tuesday records so far, but I think this one is my new favorite. Listen to it below and also download the CDQ version of Treated crew - "401k "

The new record features Million $ Mano, Mic Terror, Sulaiman, Jon James, and Hollywood Holt. The track has Mano's signature bounce and slap, with aggressive and angry drums. It's definitely mean. The second edition of Treated Tuesday is upon us, and this time it's for you early risers. "Mr. Take Your Bitch" was produced by the Treated Crew's own Nez & Rio and Miliion $ Mano. The track features, in order of appearance, Mano, Mic Terror, Sulaiman, Jon James and Hollywood Holt - quite the family affair. Last week I got a preview of the album courtesy of Million $ Mano and it's serious. The rhymes and concepts are dope, and the production is out of this world. "Mr. Take Your Bitch" will not appear on said album, which [...]

![[Video] BBU: "Spaghetti" feat Mic Terror Live At Schuba's](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4084338_lg.jpg)
BBU celebrated the release of their new mixtape, bell hooks , tonight with a show at Schuba's. One of my favorite songs on the new mixtape is "Spaghetti", which is produced by Tony Baines and features Mic Terror. BBU brought Mic T out at the end of their set and performed the song live. Watch the video below.

Today we have another song from Mic Terror's opus, Riverdale The Musical . The album is a day in the life narrative, and "The Break Up Song" featuring Macie Stewart is the final chapter. Mic comes as close as he possibly ever will to ballad on this one, stretching it over 6 minutes as all of the activity played out throughout the LP come back to bite him on this final track. Mic Terror: "The Break Up Song" feat Macie Stwart of Kids These Days

Download: BBU - bell hooks Mixtape Are you ready for a transmission straight from the streets of the Windy City? You better be, because today Мишка is happy to present bell hooks, the brand new album from Chicago's very own BBU. Picking up more steam with each passing day, this four piece is primed and ready to burst onto everyone's radar. After hearing their feature on The Hood Internet's debut album, we knew we had to do something bigger with BBU. [...]
