Skiffle gets laughed at. People seem to think that it's a joke musical form, that playing washboards and jugs and tea-chest bass is an indicator of novelty. It was actually an indicator of not having enough money to buy instruments but wanting to make music anyway. Punk didn't invent DIY, it just plugged it into an amplifier. The long awaited follow up to Jewellery is finally upon, thanks to the whimsical work of Micachu and the Shapes. Their latest effort is called Never , and it stands strong with lots of chaotic musical jabs, just as their 2009 debut did.
