Released some time last year on DFA, Michoacan 's slo-fi jam 'In The Dark Of The Night' gets perked up by Clap Rules with some playful synths and meaty riffs. This is possibly the most expensive internet cafe on the planet, so will fly through some songs. These remixes of Michoacan turned my head a couple of months ago and to be perfectly honest I'm not 100% sure why. The Fabrizio Mammarella is definitely my favourite of the two, it's a bit more interesting and fun and there's a catchy bassline in there. Naum Gabo are one James Savage, and also one Jonnie Wilkes, who happens to be one half of the legendary Optimo , who have been running their club in Glasgow for many years, and will undoubtedly still be going long after many of the fly by nights have dropped off the radar. If you were to do a search for Naum Gabo you would find information relating to a 20th century Russian Constructivist sculptor.
