One of the UK's biggest players when it comes to remixes takes on one of the land down under's biggest live dance acts. Along with knob twisting friend Dilemn, Elite Force has injected a lot of glitch beats into Midnight Juggernauts' "Tombstone." An ever ending quest for a high leaves us on that trail throughout [...]
How perfectly timed. Midnight Juggernaut 's new album, The Crystal Axis has just been released digitally a couple days back. Along comes Elite Force and his friend Dilemn teaming up together to do another one of his Revamp mashups, this time on a previously released Midnight Juggernauts' track, Tombstone . [Video:Midnight Juggernauts - Tombstone] -Video- Tombstone is the kinda song that's just begging to be remixed, not because it's bad, but because its so awesome. [ Midnight [...]
Any time you're dealing with the UK's Elite Force, you know that there's going to be a ton of kicking, building and sharpness, but on this track he's just completed (with the help of Dilemn) of the Midnight Juggernauts song "Tombstone" we found ourselves a little frustrated with how much build and burn there is [...]

Several months back now, I ran a little competition on my Facebook Page to ask for suggestions on new tracks to Revamp, with the winner grabbing one of the Ultimate top-end 'Revamped' packages from the Elite Force site . There were literally hundreds of suggestions that were thrown up, some of which I may well come back to at a later date, but the winning entry came from Ivano Knight who suggested Midnight Juggernauts ' 'Tombstone'. The mashup came together pretty quickly during a couple of overseas trips, and I brought it [...]

Next up in the festival guide, the first part for Les Ardentes 2010 . It has a more alternative dance/rock/hiphop setting going on so there are bands enough to talk about for this one! It's the third year I'm going and the previous two edition were absolutely brilliant. Four days of rock, alternative, pop, hiphop, electro, dubstep, techno, dnb, ... on one main stage outside and two indoor halls (which you very much appreciate at bad weather!). I'm trying to get press access for this festival, so there might follow a review with some hot content afterwards! but for [...]

(© AKROE) I don't know whether you share this dream with me: I've been dreaming of a festival, on the beach; with great music, disco and pop, mostly electronic; nice weather of course; good food and lovely wine. Apparently some creative people have been not only been dreaming of this but they organize a festival on the isle of Corsica, France, which seems to be too good to be true. Calvi On The Rocks takes place from July 2 - 6 in the town of Calvi. The line-up is blowing my mind: [...]

To be honest, I didn't rush into buying the new Midnight Juggernauts album because honestly i didn't think they were all that flash. I felt that were over hyped over the last year and not really worth an extra look, but with plenty of time on my hands over the last 2 weeks i finally decided to really give the new LP ' The Crystal Axis ' a proper listen. To my surprise, The Crystal Axis , is a natural, psychedelic experience. Every song flows into one another seamlessly and yet at times, certain progressions [...]

The lineup for the 2010 Parklife festivals has been revealed this morning, with the fine folk from Fuzzy bringing us yet another epic array of local and international acts. The festival has moved on in previous years from what used to be predominately a DJ festival to a mix of indie bands, DJs and live dance acts. Kele Okereke, the front man from Bloc Party, will be gracing our shores and bringing a full live band to promote his very danceable debut album 'The Boxer'. Many other Scenewave favourites [...]

Let's keep this ball rolling. I've got a lot of love to give these days.. L-Vis 1990 continues to redefine my tastes in electronic music effortlessly. Right here we have us the dub version he whipped up for Supra1 , sans vocals by Amy Douglass. Supra12s Still Believe EP was released a week ago. Supra1 - Still Believe (L-Vis 1990 Remix Dub) Oooh, and it looks like we have a Brackles remix to review [...]

holy balls it is freeeezing in melbourne. i havent been this cold since i lived in canberra. and i got told today that "i ain't seen nothin' yet". a compelling reason not to move. luke vibert has had so many alias and aka's that it all sometimes gets a little confusing. kerrier district was a little side project that he worked on a few years back to sate his disco inclinations.. while the project may have had a mixed reception, this track 'lets dance and freak' is a stone-cold classic.. any song that [...]

I've been busier than an air conditioner this week so forgive me for the lack of posting. In order to get things up to date around here, an amalgamated post ensues, which I'm not entirely crazy about. Here's to hoping amalgamation isn't a bother! Remember my review of Teenagersintokyo's Sacrifice? If you crave more action from the raunchy outfit, check out their remix work of Matt Van Schie's (of Van She) Journey . It is a smooth combination of dreamy pop vocals and instrumental work worthy of making [...]
wow. I don't know where all the album reviews went. We use to do quite a few, but yeah, they kinda went belly up. Was being sent too much new single tracks, uni got crazy busy (it still is. damn you thesis!) and yeah, i hadn't actually got any new albums to review anyways. But, [...]
