A meeting of four exquisite minds here, specifically Bloodshy , Avant and Andrew Wyatt (who collectively make up Miike Snow ) and a true god of electronic music, Stuart Price , under his recently re-emerged Jacques Lu Cont alias. Price has given Miike Snow's forthcoming single "Paddling Out" a reworking of some magnitude, being one of the few individuals who can comfortably get away with releasing material that is ostensibly an electro bosh-o-thon circa 2007 and still make it sound essential. That said, a significant contingent of the remix utilises lush, extended and atmospheric synth [...]

As we near the release of Miike Snow's forthcoming album 'Happy For You' yet another asset drops in the form of the entire tracklisting. Friday AM walk into the office is soundtracked to the MIIKE SNOW 's new beats in the form of their sophomore LP, the HAPPY TO YOU . Advanced copy just arrived this Friday AM, uploading to iPod and speak to you laters.

With the hotly anticipated new album ' Happy To You ' shortly around the corner (March 19th) Paddling Out gets the video treatment. And it must be said, it's a very odd affair featuring a rather graphic face reconstruction. Still, great tune and cannot wait for the album. Catch the band playing a string of dates in support of the new release. Tue. 03-03-12 SXSW [...]

Really looking forward to the new album from Miike Snow, "Happy to You". Of the three tracks released so far from the album, Black Tin Box is my favorite, the other two being Paddling Out and Devil's Work. Steel drums, moody vocals, and of course Lykke Li makes for wonderful sonic treat. Miike Snow - Black Tin Box (ft Lykke Li) Track list for "Happy to You" 1. Enter The Joker's Lair 2. The Wave 3. Devil's Work 4. Vase 5. [...]

Tweet Rice Pudding. Is there a better rice based pudding? I think not. I'm eating it whilst music blogging (check me, multi-tasking). I'm trying to think about some cunning analogy or illustration that can link my eating of rice pudding to this blog post. I'm struggling. I guess if I squint really hard my pudding sort of resembles a small bowl of snow and this remix is of Miike Snow . Wow, I might have a future in this after all... Moving on.. [...]

Miike Snow are back at it with their sophomore effort entitled "Happy To You". Literally some of the most infectious song makers out nowadays, it doesn't at all all seem like these guys have lost their touch. The video for this song has already been released. It's weird. It involves a man being abducted by Victorian era female aliens and plastic surgery. I don't get it but it makes me laugh for some reason. The song itself is a banger though, typical Miike Snow. It's available on iTunes now and the album should be [...]

And throwing punches to the mix is american producer Wolfgang Gartner , giving us his rendition of Miike Snow latest single 'Paddling Out'. A big room progressive sounds filled with charging electro all the way through. Although not officially released, it first premiered on Pete Tong's Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. The original of this song is great, and this remix is just as good or better then the Miike Snow version. It take the energy to the next level, because of the progressive house format that Alistair Albrecht & Bellatrax when with. Check it out! New Mixtape! Commuute - A Portable Playlist Sometimes it feels nearly impossible to go anywhere without a pair of headphones and some really good tunes blasting in your ears. It doesn't matter where you're going or how you get there- try making this music the soundtrack and see if it doesn't make the commute a little easier. This mix is designed specifically for strutting, but it should work on any mode of transportation. Some songs for the travel to your destination, and a few in there for your way home- [...]

After going silent for so long it's gratifying to have Miike Snow back in our lives. After their debut album that garnered an amazing response followed by some heavy touring the boys sort of dissapeared for awhile, but now their back with quite the work ethic. They released this jam yesterday, a remix of "Paddling Out," from Jacques Lu Cont. I'm hoping this one gets mixed into their set at Ultra. Fingers crossed. Happy To You out in March.
