And the magical adventure begins... Did I mention that this song gets me waaay more excited for Happy To You (on March 26th).
Dancing machine Miike Snow - Paddling out (video) Miik Snow is definitely a nice band. Andreas Nilsson is probably the most interesting Swedish music video director (check out the interview I did with him) Brilliant! Tweet

In this edition: We review Whistle Peak's "Half Asleep Upon Echo Falls"; check out singles from Milano Sun, Guy Capecelatro III, and I'm In You; and an excellent bunch of videos in this week's Ramblings. Review: Whistle Peak - "Half Asleep Upon Echo Falls" On February 14, Whistle Peak is set to release their second studio album, Half Asleep Upon Echo Falls . The Louisville-based quintet cleverly mixes a blend of southern blues, folk and rock to [...]

Yessir. It's officially freezing out in Boston. Nothing some hot new tunes won't fix… Sabali - Amadou and Mariam - Miike Snow remix - This song is dope. Amadou and Mariam(pic above) made the original (also remixed by mayoral fave, Theophilus London - on his "This Charming Mixtape" - Google and download that shite!)Miike Snow kills this. Enjoy. Texico Bitches - Broken Social Scene - Star Slinger Remix - You all know how much I dig UK producer, Star Slinger. [...]

the brand new Miike Snow video is here yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yayyyyyyyyyyy and even moaaarrrr yayyyyyyyyyyyyy

After unveiling "Devil's Work" last December to much blog hype, Swedish trio Miike Snow return with another track taken off their forthcoming album Happy To You . "Paddling Out" is a stuttering uptempo piece of pop goodness that clearly shows a nice evolution for the band. Maybe it's the syncopated piano or maybe the frenzied sampled beats, but in any case there's something utterly addictive about this new song... Keep'em coming! To support the new album, the band will embark on a massive [...]

A great Friday of video releases crushes on, with Miike Snow offering their input for the weekend-friendly sing-along "Paddling Out". Enjoy the weirdness from the indie-pop Swedish trio.
This is the ridiculous clip of Miike Snow 's single, "Paddling Out". Featuring an abduction by children fashioning the baroque period, the idea is to create the perfect dancing specimen. The 2 chicks that were on the artwork for the single appear in the video as well. Someone definitely gave the Swedes quite the budget to make this, as this production value is golden. Happy To You will be out 3/27. Miike Snow - "Paddling Out"

Miike Snow at Terminal 5 in 2010 ( more by Brook Bobbins ) As mentioned , Miike Snow are releasing Happy to You and heading out on a tour in support of it which hits NYC on April 24 and 25 at Terminal 5 . Both of those shows are sold out, but they've just announced a third show at the venue happening on April 26 . Tickets for that show go on sale [...]
Just in today - Miike Snow's music video from his song, Paddling Out. This video has a sci-fi, Twin Peaks-esque vibe and follows the character John Noel through a transformation. It's funny, creepy, and even gross at times. We love it.
Style icon, Bauce Sauce , called jabots were coming back and Miike Snow has picked up on the trend. Besides a dash of Baroque period fashion, this video also contains some hauntingly beautiful choreography, an abduction of sorts, and some reconstructive surgery to create the perfect human. Don't drink the banana juice. "Paddling Out" will be released officially on the forthcoming Happy to You album, out 3/27
It looks like those awesomely creepy twins that can be found on the Miike Snow album cover are going to be used throughout the promotional campaign leading up to the new album, and I am totally cool with that. With a few singles in the bag , this indie-pop trio drop the visuals to the catchy "Paddling Out". While the song is loads of fun, I can't begin to express how amusing the video is. It starts with a passed out drunk man waking up to a pair of magical dancing shoes. Then a young set of [...]
