Following on from Jesse Futerman's debut EP, Super Basement, last year, he's now back with Fuse The Witches - a 7-track EP that builds further upon his distinctive jazz-breaks sound. Having already received high praise from the likes of Gilles Peterson, OkayPlayer, 3hive, Potholes In My Blog, Pinboard Blog, and a slew of other high profile DJs, publications and blogs, Jesse Futerman shows no signs of slowing down! In his own words; "With Fuse The Witches I am attempting to keep the sound of Super Basement while creating a more varied listening experience; I've sampled [...]

Download: Open Mike Eagle- Rent Party Extension Los Angeles-based rapper Open Mike Eagle recently dropped a five-track EP that, like many of the best things in life, is free. Titled Rent Party Extension , the EP brings in a handful of features, including Milo, who put out the Loved Listed I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here last year, and Roots collaborator Hot Sugar . The release serves as an appetizer for the full-length that the MC is supposedly putting out [...]
We like to spend our Sunday afternoons hungover - scouring the far corners of the internet to find the oft-overlooked but still incredibly awesome tracks from under-exposed artists. Today we have "Friendly City" from the moombahton duo Milo & Otis. These two take the familiar sample made famous by Justice on "We Are Your Friends" and warp it to fit their unique 120 BPM, dubby moombahton style. "Friendly City" is Dillon Francis-esque, complete with squealing synths, off-tempo kicks, high-pitched, 8-bit arpeggios and a massive wobble drop. Check out the rest of their Soundcloud for more moombahton goodness - [...]
Producers KillaGraham and Nymz have joined forces to work under the new moniker, Milo & Otis . With the release of two brand new tracks, they have caused everyone to take notice (including our friends form Vacay ). Weary of another "We Are Your Friends" sampling, we were skeptical from the introduction of their new remix "Friendly City", but Milo & Otis turned us into huge believers as soon as the drop hit us in the face. Milo & Otis (comprised of duo KillaGraham and Nymz) have come out with a new track that immediately caught my attention. "We Are Your Friends" by Simian is an EDM classic and Milo & Otis have created a pretty interesting re-interpretation. Not sure what to classify this as other than raging-sorta-moomba-electro-aw esomeness. Milo & Otis - Friendly City (Original Mix) Supplemental Vitamin: [...]

Rent Party Revolution (Taco Neck Remix) Rent Party Revolution is a song I wrote about and for all the folks I know with hyperactive minds that live in a world that isnt designed to inspire their potential. ![[Review/Listen] – Milo – "Milo Takes Baths" EP](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4126370_lg.jpg)
Spoken-word "rapper" Milo is "your favorite spoken word deacon," as boldly proclaimed on the track "The Ballad of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" , the second on his "Milo Takes Baths" EP. Named for Spongebob Squarepants' superhero idol and his sidekick, a piece of adult-friendly children's fantasy television that feels like an apt thematic comparison for the EP - accessible, deep, honest, fantastic, ethereal... A collaborative effort between electronic artist Baths and rapsmith Milo , the beats even sound heavily influenced by water, with electronic drips instead of electronic blips [...]

It's always interesting to hear what producers end up sounding like when they venture off into side projects. For Milo & Otis, the new project from Florida based Killagraham and NYMZ, the sound the two construct together is unlike any Moombahton I've heard to date. The dubstep influence that Killagraham mixes in is way too sick to miss; he absolutely kills it. Enjoy. Oasis - Wonderwall (Milo & Otis Remix) | Direct Download

True fans of music spend countless hours searching for that next great song, album or artist, whether it be online or in a local record shop. The beautiful thing about music in today's age is that technology has created an infinite supply of great music that is available to us at the click of a mouse. How perfect is that? We can discover a brand new artist on the opposite side of the globe in seconds without a radio or a music television channel. It only makes sense that a website so dedicated to this gorgeous universe of music would [...]

While this track off Milo's latest mixtape features the same raw and humble characteristics the Wisconsin rapper's previous efforts, the lyrics here expose private moments in a way that just leaves me with a pile of awkward feelings. WATCH THE REVIEW

Good news with Milo from The Descendents getting his V2 Throbblehead form after the first version sold out. Milo V2 is limited to 2000 numbered units, stands at 7 inches tall, and is made of a lightweight polyresin. Sculpted with signature glasses and new Descendents tee. "You can blame me for the V1 selling out," said Milo. "I told Aggronautix to only make 1000, and that they'd be lucky to unload a few hundred." pre-order Milo is the fourteenth person to be [...]
Over at Potholes we've had our eye on Milo for a bit now. His laid back but quick tongued lyricism winds over beats that a majority of rappers wouldn't even think about touching. A week or so back we got a peak at his newest project with " Atlas Flushed (Grumpy Groucho Marxist Response) " and now the full Milo Takes Baths is available for your listening pleasure. The seven track release is entirely over Baths productions, and it's a perfect way to get your week started. The album is up for download in the name your [...]
Milo takes Baths by Milo I warned you about the forthcoming Milo mixtape, and now it's here. Milo Takes Baths is one track after another of witty rhymes, obscure references, and instrumentals produced by beatmusic artist Baths. Download or stream the release above, and check a video for the mixtape track "the Confrontation At Khazad-Dûm" here .
On last year's I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here rapper Milo showed his preference for experimental hip-hop beats. He took on instrumentals from guys like Shlohmo and Flying Lotus, but his intelligent off-kilter delivery fit in perfectly with the unorthodox production. It seems fitting that his next project, Milo Takes Baths, will feature the MC spitting over all Baths productions. "Atlas Flushed (Grumpy Groucho Marxist Response)" is our first glimpse at that release, as Milo takes on "Apologetic Shoulder Blades" from the album Curulean . [ Via ] [...]

MP3 Last year, I covered quite a few up-and-coming MCs, and one of the most clever I came across was a young buck by the name of Milo. His debut mixtape, I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here , was one of the first releases I've heard to take the nerd rap and make it relatable and endearing-you know, instead of a cartoony effigy. Milo's got a new mixtape on the way, and it's nothing but new rhymes and instrumentals from beatmusic producer Baths. The title? Milo [...]

Y'all may remember when I reviewed the debut mixtape of up-and-coming MC Rory Ferreira , a.k.a. Milo. The title: I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here . You can hear it here . While it wasn't the most well-recorded tape I heard all year, it was easily one of the most brutally honest. Honesty and tangibility is incredibly important to Milo. If I had to guess what the biggest influence on his music is, I would have to say reality. Of course, that's the theme Milo chose to deal with then I approached [...]
If you still haven't gotten hip to Milo yet, I strongly suggest you head check out his album I Wish my Brother Rob Was Here , which is still available for download at a name your price option. A few days back he graced us with another cut, this one a remix of Made In Heights' "Goblin Sigh". It's more of the eclectic production and mind bending rhymes that got me hooked on his album in the first place. Be sure to give this track a spin, and grab his album if you haven't yet. [...]

Based on the popular Japanese manga series, and picking up where the anime series Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood left off, Full Metal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos transports the audience to a world where alchemy is the most advanced scientific technique. The film tells the tale of the Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, as they continue their search for the Philosopher's Stone. The legendary catalyst is the only device powerful enough to restore their bodies to their natural form. While in pursuit of a fugitive whose alchemy is unlike anything [...]
