"Let life dance thru you" reveals itself as a "safari" of live played percussion, instruments and sounds. The duo create here a biotope of sounds that interact with each other... like a live band would do at times almost arabesque sounding this track is full of mysterious soundscapes... jazzy played instruments... flutes running havoc... it could as well be: a spiritual "Voodoo session" from the 70ies!
So many labels base their content on certain concepts and Enemy is no different. In our case, its about late-night and early morning grooves. Sometimes the music is laid back and moody, sometimes its deeper and a little funky, and sometimes the music is a little harder. Everybody has different ideas about what late-night music means to them. While the techno world revels in everything Berlin and Ibiza, we offer a unique and different approach, presented by Minilogue.
This is not the next Minilogue album. But it's still good news. You could even say it is... music to my ears. Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus Henriksson of Minilogue fame invited Koss to jam with them in Sweden and this forthcoming LP is the result. Apparently it runs for 2.5 hours and one track is over an hour long. If you can't handle that, then get out of the kitchen. If you can then here be a mix to get you all hyped up like Tyson when he sees earlobes. However, If you carry on waltzing about thinking you can [...]
A continuación les presento una compilación de canciones que no deberían de faltar en su reproductor de música. Russian duo Moonbeam return to Traum Schallplatten for their newest single, entitled "Motus," which was released two days ago via the German label. Moonbeam originally formed back in 2003, launching their own label called Moonbeam Digital in 2005, which helped them to build their reputation through collaboration with other well known musicians. Moonbeam , since working for Traum, have remixed many well known electronic acts including Extrawelt and Minilogue . "Motus" is a pretty huge [...]
"The Cocoon Compilation K, being the longplay flagship in the Cocoon catalogue, adequately starts the second decade of the label with a musical imperative. But don't worry: even if the letter K has sometimes been misused as an indicator for the degree of hardness of some sonic noise in the past of the Tech-House scene, [...]
[Green] ( buy vinyl ) (buy mp3s tk) Being an artist who is an early adopter, whether of technology or techniques, has its advantages: It's easier to get noticed in an uncrowded field and harder to explain something that's still so new. But what happens when the rest of the pack catches up and makes that once special trait seem commonplace? That seems to be the dilemma faced by Geurt Kersjes, the Dutch producer known in dance circles as Pitto. In 2008 his breakout track, "Sexvibe," whirled across dance floors like an [...]

Our good friend , partneress in crime and, for some of us, even our favorite hairdresser is about to unleash a debut EP on her own Klasse Records. Berlin-based Johanna Knutsson's debut Heavy Baby is a vocal driven, pure... Read More

If, for whatever reason, you're getting ever so slightly bored with general minimal house/tech releases of late then listen to this absolutely gorgeous mix. I'm not getting bored as such, I just seem to spend most of my time either wandering about aimlessly or being stuck with my head in the bloody sand. Just taking a different perspective you know. It's how I came to the conclusion that fascists hate ambient music. Point is, if you haven't guessed, this mix is refreshing. Like watermelon. Apart there's no seeds. Only deep, bouncy minimal tech house goodness. It's been put [...]
Minilogue - Remixed Part 2 Trailing the 3 tracks on vinyl here comes the second part of the Minilogue Remixes. We really had to release these additional remixes since their quality was stunning. The music bandwidth ranging from deep techno to minimal house to electronica. Berlins David Keno contributes a pop house kind of remix, [...]
The genius of Minilogue lies in their ability to formulate organic yet paradoxically regulated minimal, aligning vast swathes of atmosphere, hooky rhythmic sweetness and eccentric nuance to heart-achingly sublime effect. Their music is a beautiful canvas upon which many producers would love to scrawl and last week saw the release of Remixed , Traum Schallplatten's 3 track EP comprising reinterpretations of some (well...a couple of) Minilogue classics. Dominik Eulberg and Freska have both applied their talents to aspects of Certain Things , Minilogue's first release on Traum way back in 2005. Eulberg's instalment is melodic and [...]
Here are two tracks that you can continue hearing on and on, to almost everything you walk around and do. I like Minilogue, I like Extrawelt and I also think Leopards are pretty fucking cool. Basically, this track has all the components it needs to leapfrog the other crap I rifle through and firmly position itself at the forefront of my existence. I guess the fact that it's an amazing tune also helps...although not as much as the leopard thing, they sit in trees a lot and sometimes they eat monkeys. Monkeys are basically stupid people with cute faces. Anyway, spacious and impelling, the distinctive clarity of Extrawelt's percussion enhances Minilogue's ambient leanings, giving birth to the reason [...]
