Minor Stars . All I can say is, WOW. Rock the way it's meant to be, a kick in the balls. Death Of The Sun In The Silver Sea is one heck of a record, unlike the shit you hear on the radio these days. It's really hard for me to like american rock sometimes but these lads have got all the best bits in the right places. Heavy fat fuzzy guitars with a razors through the record, punctuated with gut wrenching, psychadelic solos. On mellower moments, they sound like Dinosaur Jr / Elliott Smith. [...]

Chapel Hill, NC is an incubator for new musical talent. One of those bands worth checking out is Minor Stars. Their propulsive, emotive guitars should appeal to fans of bands like Dinosaur Jr (singer Eric even boasts a J Mascis-worthy do).
