Having formed in 2006, My Tiny Robots have taken a while to find who they really are. The band took a bit of a break but shot back into the scene in 2010 and have since shared a stage with some great bands such as The Maccabees and Minus the Bear. I know why Minus the Bear is celebrating their Tenth Anniversary Tour : because they are amazing performers. Their show at Lincoln Theatre on Friday, Oct. 25, was incredible. Ah, the coveted album anniversary tour - it doesn't get quite better than that. The Velvet Teen (@thevelvetteen) began the night last Tuesday at Webster Hall with synth distortions and head-banging, progressive drums - certainly not the sort of band that allows for casual listening at the bar.
