Staffers at the LEO Zoological Conservation Center in Greenwich, Connecticut, have a serious mystery on their hands. After Armani the Anteater gave birth to her first daughter, Alice, in August, her husband Alf was separated from them. Male anteaters have a tendency to kill their young, which is probably why there are so many anteaters on the Ashley Madison site. Daddy issues, amirite? But, despite the fact that her hubby has been kept away, and she hasn't been around any other male anteaters either, Armani has managed to become magically pregnant with another baby anteater, Archie. Gigamesh has taken Ghost Beach ’s tropi-pop jam “Miracle” and prescribed it a hefty dose of Xanax. The track opens with some synth and drum elements, building up into an explosion of ethereal bliss and super low end kicks. The beat is carefree and loose but still put-together enough for it to groove you along - a stark contrast from the playfully syncopated original. The Midwestern DJ smothers the track with synth arpeggiations, giving it a rather tangible texture. The most distinct change lies in Josh Ocean’s voice, morphing the rebellious upstart's usual pitch into that of a [...]

Synths versus guitars. Ever since Miracle hit the web it’s been the question on every Hurts fan’s lips in anticipation for ‘Exile’, the band’s second album. But can we really berate a band for progressing, for trying something new? Synths may seem integral to Hurts' 80s aesthetic, but it’s melodrama that’s at the heart of their sound. Whatever the instrumentation, ‘Exile’ has melodrama in spades: from the grating, Muse-esque title track, [...]
This playlist has about as many mood swings as the characters in The Breakfast Club . Of course, they were high school students, so we can't necessarily hold it against them. But seriously, while listening to this playlist you might find yourself happy one second and a little contemplative the next. At one point, you might want to dance. Either way, i think you'll enjoy it. Thanks for listening.

Together, Rogers and Robinson wrote a number of hits, including Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That Familiar" and the Temptations' "The Way You Do The Things You Do". They penned huge cuts by the Miracles, too, like [...]

In true Smash The House form, this 2013 rework from the Belgian duo shocks the classic right into the world of big room Vegas-ready club anthems.
