Everyone's favorite YouTube cover band, Boyce Avenue , recently teamed up with Fifth Harmony to deliver this pretty amazing cover of JT's new single "Mirrors" from The 20/20 Experience. I feel like a lot of the Boyce covers are kind of generic and bland, but this certainly isn't one of those. It's really great, maybe better than the original.

Weekend was probably the most convincing force to come out of San Francisco’s recent shoegaze revival, with "Mirror", the first single from their upcoming album, Jinx, however, the band ends up sounding more closely related to post/punk bands of the early 80s. They’ve borrowed their delay and chorus from The Cure while incorporating some of the intensity and distortion of Joy Division yet the track avoids being labeled ‘derivative’ due to the way it all comes together. The "When I Dip You Dip" sample has been cropping up all over the place. Turns out it's sourced from a mid nineties one-hit-wonder called Freak Nasty. He even produced a video which straddles the production standards of The Children's Television Workshop and generic,eyeball humping Rap show. Apparently some kind of North American Macerena Paraguay's LPZ rack up another excellent production while carving themselves quite a reputation for consistent, acid-tinged house cuts. Keep your ears out for the LPZ outfit.
Justin Timberlake keeps the ball rolling by releasing a touching visual for "Mirrors," off of his third solo album, The 20/20 Experience . Love the video treatment on this one and how they told a love story of an elderly couple while tying in the reflection/mirror theme. Timberlake remains absent from the clip until the 5:45 mark, just in time for the beat switch. Though long in length, the video complements the song extremely well. Right on the heels of the announcement of The 20/20 Experience 2, Justin Timberlake has released the video for new single “Mirrors”. A short film of sorts (being over 8 minutes long) is broken down into two parts. First we follow a time traveling couple who get to see different sages of their relationship, both happy and sad. In the 2nd part, JT finally shows up in a mirror funhouse setting, singing in his peacoat.
