Chicago chicos Mister Fidget and Sound Remedy collaborated recently to remix the blogosphere-shoot Girls' Night by First Rate People . This re-imagined record has chopped up vocals over a buzzy disco-synth with a hard backbeat to keeps things moving. Acapellas used with permission by First Rate People, who were generous enough to let the two guys do what they pleased with their breakthrough original single. Very laid-back piece of work. A little more Chicago goodness, this time with the 1-2 punch of Sound Remedy and Mister Fidget . Both of these quality Chitown acts came together to remix First Rate People's Girls' Night. Not that you should've ever heard the original (no sarcasm at all in there), but the remix chops up the vocals over a buzzy disco-synth while turning the kick up to 11. It's a good.
