Despite Boston Mayor James Curely's specious methods for disposing of snow - "by the use of flame throwers or chemicals or otherwise" - you've got to hand it to the man, who in 1948, requested the assistance of the smaht kids at M.I.T. to come up with some invention to rid the state of their mounting snow problem. The Reverse Cowgirl is a rollercoaster designed and built for rush week by two college students. Wooden rollercoasters are terrifying enough, but when you consider one built by a couple of college dudes, who may or may not be in a fraternity (not passing judgement...okay maybe a little), it seems a scarier proposition than spending a week at Gitmo.
