Lately I've been spending a lot of time listening to Strand of Oaks' brilliant second LP, Pope Killdragon , so I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Timothy Showalter recorded a few covers for Aquariam Drunkard recently. Well it's my first weekend back in Montreal, so of course this calls for a extra-special selection of tunes. One of my favorite bands, Tokyo Police Club , is currently in a 10 song in 10 day cover challenge all being sponsored by Polaroid. They will cover one song from each of the last ten years.
