America’s East Coast hasn’t had the greatest luck with multi-day music festivals. Remember Vineland? All Points West? Sure, upstate New York plays hosts to plenty of jam-band and electronica festivals, and NYC has CMJ and Governors Ball-type events, but none of those are really in the same league as, say, Coachella or Bonnaroo. Modest Mouse were another late addition to FireFly . I thought that would sell Paz on going to this shindig, but previous engagements fucked that up. They'll be on early-evening Saturday. I bet if the promoters knew that Passion Pit were going to back out, they'd have Modest Mouse going right before The Killers. Now I guess everyone will have to watch Lupe Fiasco after these guys, which just seems insulting.
