Somos nosotros interpretando (la marcha militar) Pomp and [...]

1 - Mogwai - Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will Mogwai yet again releases an amazingly ambient yet centrally driving album filled with anticpatory progressions and songs that blend sonically disparate sections as if they were just one melodic chorus. 2 - Yeasayer - End Blood Yeasayer's 'End Blood' EP made the list thanks to [...]

On their website the band state: It will likely be the last extensive touring we do for some time so we hope it will be a very special tour [...]

Nic Shonfeld From the outset, The Twilight Sad weren't shy about proudly pronouncing their influences. The publicity photos for their 2007 debut Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters may as well have featured the band staring intently at their footwear, so obviously indebted were the Glaswegians to the walls of guitar construction techniques laid down by their shoegazing forebears. But what set them apart was the songwriting blueprints they applied those lessons to, choosing to build giant monuments to miserablism from giant slabs of distortion, mortared together by James [...]

Mogwai at MHoW ( more by Ryan Muir ) Hello all and a happy new year. 2011 was a great year for us releasing our Hardcore Will Never Die album and playing 124 shows (our busiest ever). We were constantly surprised and grateful for the support we received throughout both through people coming to see us play all over the world and the goodwill shown towards our record. The only blemish on an otherwise brilliant year was us twice having to postpone shows in North America. Firstly because of a visa delay [...]
