O tema consta do mais recente álbum da banda britânica, 'Wired Together' e faz parte do mais recente PodKraak, "Beating heads Against the Wall".

I assume these guys will make music forever consider their sound always updates slightly, but still remains constant enough for you to know it's the Chili Peppers. This weekend we're looking forward to a crammed, but fun, couple of days. Friday we're playing with D/R/U/G/S and The Touch, and Saturday we have booked Mustang. The new video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers track " Monarchy Of Roses " is a chopped-up, animated, mostly black-and-white affair, in which the Chili Peppers inhabit environments taken directly from the drawings of a particular artist, the great Black Flag-affiliated pen-and-ink brutalist Raymond Pettibon . Marc Klasfeld directed the video, but it's credited as being "inspired by the work of" Pettibon. I hope that means they broke him off with some paper, though I guess Raymond Pettibon isn't exactly hurting for money. Watch the clip below. Read More...

Chilis released this video for the single Monarchy of Roses, off their latest I'm With You , this past Friday. The video was inspired by the work of artist Raymond Pettibon . Pettibon's brother was a founding member of punk rock outfit Black Flag, and Ray himself was even a former member. In addition, Kiedis is sporting the best moustache I've seen all November here.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' most recent album I'm With You had almost faded from my memory before I watched this video for "Monarchy of Roses." Not only is the video really great, but the song is actually damn fun too. The video was inspired by the work of Venice Beach artist Raymond Pettibon and features the band in animated form morphing and jamming between some crazy animations.
