We missed this monophonic release when it first came out on The Pacfic's own Mistkäfer Records imprint, but thankfully Bachelor is releasing it as well and were kind enough to give us the heads up! MONO adalah band post-rock asing pertama yang pernah saya tonton secara langsung, yaitu ketika Jakarta Rock Parade, 13 Juli 2008. Dan langsung saja mereka mengubah pandangan saya terhadap band instrumental post-rock saat itu. Menonton mereka seperti menaiki rollercoaster, emosi kita ikut naik turun mengikuti mood yang mereka bangun melalui lagu yang mereka bawakan. Jumat, 6 Mei 2001 kemarin, saya akhirnya berkesempatan untuk menyaksikan mereka kembali dalam rangkaian tour Asia mereka di Singapore. Dan satu hal yang bisa saya katakan dari awal adalah, menonton mereka sangat setimpal dengan memecahkan celengan babi saya untuk bisa mengongkosi saya berangkat menuju Singapore..hehehe.. [...]
