Moonbabies ! At first, I thought it was an Asian synthpop band, but I was mistaken. They're Swedish (was there even a question these days?). There is very little synth. Their pop is refined, more brown sugar than powdered. Robust. Think Snow Patrol, The Flaming Lips, and Broken Social Scene all rolled up into one. It's shoegaze for the Grey's Anatomy crowd. God knows the OC doesn't have it all its own way. Grey's Anatomy is also pushing the indie bandwagon into sitting rooms that would otherwise have never experienced sounds from outside out of the top ten.
