Yasiin Bey 's (formerly Mos Def) latest drop isn't necessarily a new song or video, per se, but kind of a combination of both. He's contributed to a public service announcement on the New York Police Department's highly controversial Stop-And-Frisk policy, which is currently at the center of a trial that just wrapped up in NYC. Back when we all knew him as Mos Def , the rapper now calling himself Yasiin Bey dropped one of the best albums of 2009 with The Ecstatic . And even though we'd all love a new project from dude, it would appear that a remix version of that album is in the works.
