Easy Action Records in the UK have released some pretty incredible live recordings of The Stooges, Iggy Pop, MC5 and Sonic's Rendezvous Band the past few years and now they bring us this monumental live Hawkwind document. Leave No Star Unturned captures them in January 1972 headlining a show that also featured performances by the Pink Fairies and Syd Barrett at a venue called the Cambridge Corn Exchange. The rumor was that this year's edition of Mayhem Fest would feature Slipknot, Slayer, M otorhead, Anthrax, The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying and Whitechapel; yesterday, we got confirmation that Slipknot are indeed headlining the outing, and now all the other bands have been confirmed, too. Well this looks promising! This year's Mayhem festival, the touring hard rock and metal celebration, has got itself quite a massive line up this year. Slipknot and Slayer will be headlining the festival while the side stages will boast bands including Anthrax, Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, High On Fire and As I Lay Dying.
