This past Friday I went to the Spring up Festival in Osaka, Japan. The majority of the artists performing were of the electronic persuasion, with the occasional trance/dubstep vibe. There were two rooms going, one for the headliners and the other for lesser known DJs. But I mostly attended the festival to hear Mount Kimbie and Clark. The marvellous video to Mount Kimbie 's 'Before I Move Off' was released in late 2010 - and was made up of hundreds of fast-moving photographs, that when sequenced together, oozed a gorgeous stream-of-consciousness lust for life. 151 of the wanderlust inspiring images were today uploaded via Mount Kimbie's Facebook, so we actually have time to appreciated the images on a more individual level. Monte Kimbie - Carbonated (Video) If your new to the post-dubstep scene and haven't heard of Mount Kimbie then you haven't been following the internet closely enough. The British duo have been a big part of the post-dubstep movement and perhaps one of the early pioneers of this genre. Carbonated is from their first LP, Crooks and Lovers and one of our all time favorites tracks from them.
