I'm sorry Ms. Jackson, but [...]
Mr. Gnome have been touting their work on an amazing video for their song, "House of Circles", for quite some time now. And many of us were wondering when this thing would see the light of day. Well, friends, it's finally here, and it's spectacular; especially considering that the band did [...]

For complicated reasons, we'll keep it short and sweet this morning: ► Toronto trio METZ , whose self-titled debut came out last month on Sub Pop, took the recent CMJ festival by storm with (speaking of storms) their thunderous return to the punk and hardcore of 20 years ago. METZ visits the Echo tonight supported by Vinyl Williams and Batwings Catwings. That's METZ's video for "Wet Blanket," above; you can download their great song "Headache" right here. Also: JJAMZ, [...]

Here's another massive compilation, featuring 21 tracks that made March one of the best months for new artists I've seen this year. There's a bunch of great stuff here from a wide array of bands, featuring unsigned groups with a very bright future (The Twees, Que? Zoo and Dr Skull, Rural Ghosts), those just about

Probablemente otra cosa. Mr. Gnome - The Way [Right click for download] Si [...]

SXSW has it all in March, namely tons of music from artists you'll be hearing about more in the coming months. In a small series preluding the music session that goes from March 13-18, we'll be focusing in on some of the collective efforts of labels and PR companies collecting in Austin. We wish we could cover every group that is playing down there, but as Bandcamp states, there are over 400 artists going to be there. If you have a label or PR company, big or small, that you want featured, email us with your lineup card. [...]
